Sloppy updates, new jobs, 02 November 2003
Been busy updating my life so the website is quite dead. Personal projects are on ice due to all the cool works there are to do. I worked last winter for 4 months in H&G Entertainment, Brescia, Italy and after that moved to sunny California to work for Blur at Venice (LA). No new works on the site but a demoreel anyway. Demo edited last Christmas (02), no sound - please do not comment on that. I do not believe music makes any difference and I didn't have time to choose and search good music.
Try to add some Blur stuff sometimes.
I had to take the high bandwidth version of Demoreel off-line If you really need it drop me email.

So now for faster download! 6.5 Mb DivX reel!
Download demoreel

Awards - and the project is done, 24 August 2002
The project was finished in May. Project Kerosene animation and this website were part of Heikki Anttila's diploma project which was selected as the graduation project of the year in Lahti Institute of Design and awarded a stipendium.
The animation part of the project won the first prize in animation competition of Assembly '02
The full resolution animation with music by Milan Kolarovic can be found at:

This site will stay and display my future projects. One day I also might add some technical tutorials or how-to's. Now you can check the gallery:

New material, 21 March 2002
Some new material in the gallery. The hurry levels are rising as the project is closing to an end. This has resulted that the updates have been bit lazy. Also the Morar Ultra Heavy Carrier is finished and some animations have been rendered already. The animation is already in good process. I will try to post some clips soonish.

Interviews online + new material, 8 November 2001
New material in gallery. Check especially the latest vehicle renderings of flying car. Also first interview (under texts-section) is online. The first design person to be interviewed is Francis Tsai, an art director at Angel Studios

Assault probe preparing for take-off, 5 July 2001
It has been a while since the last update. Summer break is going on and other things have taken up my time. Anyway - the morar flying assault probe is taking its final form and is almost finished. Some materials will still be updated and some details added. Check the gallery for pics.

Cora, Cora and Cora again, 30 April 2001
A lot of work has been done on the character models lately, mostly on Cora's desert suit and her anatomy. It has taken quite a many working hours during last two weeks, but I am becoming quite satisfied (and faster all the time). Check the gallery for pics.

Redesign for the site + new material 30 March 2001
The gallery has expanded with some 3d face modelings (in early March), sketches, first storyboards and architecture concepts. The flat, and building it belongs to, are the first things actually close to their final form.
A lot of time lately has gone in work outside the project and in training character animation. The animations will be posted here though at the moment they are separate excercises.

New sketches added 10 February 2001
The gallery section has expanded a bit. The project itself is slowly starting. At the moment I am working mostly on characters. There is so much to learn related to them that I want to have them ready early. At the same time I Have been sketching other things here and there.
Storyboard for the animation is big important work I should start working soon. After that it is easier to manage the whole thing and know what there is still to do.

Opened for beta review 19 January 2001
