A two min animation trailer was also created. The project was chosen as the graduation project of 2002 in Lahti Institute of Design and the animation part won Assembly ´2002 animation competition. 2001 - 2002 Freelance Besides my studies I have worked on number of smaller projects. To mention some: 2001 ED-design, training rendering skills with 3D Studio Max for industrial design professionals. 2001 Rammer, design proposals and promotion material for a industrial hammer. 2001 Live!-design, modeled an accessory device for a mobile phone. The modeling was used for rapid prototype and in tooling of the final injection moulds. 1/2000 - 12/2000 Military service compulsory in Finland After the anti aircraft group leader education I served in the newspaper of finnish defence forces as a graphic designer. 5/1999 - 8/1999 Nokia Mobile Phones, Designer trainee I worked in the Nokia R&D unit in Salo, Finland. I was responsible for creating digital visualizations to be used in internal communication. In addition to participating in product development and design projects, I did an 3D animation presenting the use and functions of a forthcoming mobile phone model. 5/1998 - 8/1998 Studio Salovaarat, Designer trainee I participated in a wide range of product developement projects including e.g. Nokia Telecommunications, Stala (sink manufacturer) and Tunturi (a bicycle and fitness equipment manufacturer) . 1996- Instititute of Design, Lahti Polytechnic, product design In my studies I have gained good professional product development knowledge and strong communication skills over profession boundaries. Since 1997 I have consistently developed my skills in digital illustration, animation and with various design tools.
